Our Mission
Our mission at Animal Care Center of Brentwood is to offer comprehensive veterinary services with a personal touch. We treat every pet as if they were our own, ensuring they receive the highest-quality care. Both Dr. Sullivan and Dr. O'Neill have 40 years of experience in veterinary care of dogs and cats.
Meet Dr. O'Neill
Dr. Lisa O'Neill is Fear Free Certified, Cat Friendly Certified, and a former Diplomate of The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP).
She was raised in Atlanta, GA, attended the University of Georgia and UT Knoxville for her undergraduate studies, and received her DVM in 1984 from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She held an associate vet position in Portsmouth, Va. before returning to Nashville.
Dr. O'Neill held associate vet positions at West Meade Veterinary Clinic and Belle Forest Animal Hospital before opening Animal Care Center of Brentwood with Dr. Sullivan in 1991. She attained specialty certification from the ABVP in 1991 in Canine and Feline Medicine, electing not to re-certify for a 3rd term in 2011 due to family obligations. Dr. O'Neill's special interests are feline internal medicine, geriatric care, and pet behavior counseling, including anxieties and conflict between household pets.
Meet Dr. Sullivan
Dr. Wayne Sullivan is a native of Nashville, TN. He attended UT Martin for his undergraduate studies, and received his DVM degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. After two years in private practice and emergency practice in Virginia Beach, Dr. Sullivan returned to the Nashville area. In Nashville he held associate positions at Denny Animal Hospital and Belle Forest Animal Hospital, before opening Animal Care Center of Brentwood with Dr. O'Neill in 1991. Dr. Sullivan's area of special interest is soft tissue surgery.
